A GRAVEL EARTH FIRST IN ASIA: ATTCK UNRSTRKTD IGNITES THE PHILIPPINES

On February 9th, 2025, history was made as the Gravel Earth Series touched down in Asia for the first time. The province of Nueva Ecija in the Philippines played host to ATTCK UNRSTRKTD, a landmark event that delivered everything it promised: fierce racing, raw adventure, and a community spirit like no other.

From the break of dawn, riders faced an intense route that weaved through rice fields, rolling hills, and rugged trails. The tropical heat added another layer of difficulty, but so did the overwhelming beauty of the surroundings. With local fans cheering and volunteers fueling the stoke at every corner, the race quickly turned into a celebration of both endurance and culture.

Hometown Glory and Regional Power

In the men’s race, Christian Timbang of the Philippines delivered a stunning performance, crossing the finish line in 9:07:19. Just over a minute behind him was fellow countryman Emmanuel Dave Montemayor, representing Michelin, showing the strength of the local gravel scene. The third podium spot was claimed by Yusuf Kibar from Indonesia, riding for Stray x Technobike2, rounding out a powerful Southeast Asian top three.

On the women’s side, it was Kunlaporn Muzcali Chaoroensuk of Thailand who stole the show. Riding for Rapha / Bikes & Coffee Manila, she completed the grueling course in 11:12:16, asserting her dominance on the gravel frontier. Indonesia’s Arfiana Khairunnisa followed in second place, while local rider Sam Abriol secured a well-earned third for the Philippines.

More Than Just a Race

ATTCK UNRSTRKTD wasn’t just a competition — it was a milestone. Riders from across Asia and beyond came together to share a trail, a story, and a new chapter in gravel racing. The event brought the global Gravel Earth Series spirit into the heart of the Philippines, and left behind a strong sense of momentum and possibility.

Next stop: Santa Vall. But for now, Asia has officially entered the Gravel Earth map — and it came in with a bang.
